Privacy Policy

nodevstack is an independent comparison site for no-code, hosting, CRM and accounting tools. We keep data collection to the minimum needed to run the site and understand what's useful. We don't require an account, we don't run a newsletter, and we don't sell your data. This page explains what we do collect.

Analytics we run

Umami (self-hosted). We use a self-hosted, privacy-focused analytics tool to see aggregate page views and which features get used. It runs on our own server, stores only aggregated, non-identifying data, and does not follow you across other websites.

Microsoft Clarity. We use Clarity to see anonymized heatmaps and session replays that help us fix confusing layouts. Clarity is a Microsoft product; keystrokes and form inputs are masked. Your use of the site is subject to Microsoft's handling of this data as described in their privacy documentation. You can opt out with the cookie notice or a tracker-blocking browser/extension.

Affiliate link clicks

When you click a link to a tool we earn from, it passes through a redirect on our own domain (nodevstack.com/go/<tool>). Our web server logs that a click happened so we can reconcile it against affiliate network reports. After the redirect, the vendor or its affiliate network (for example PartnerStack or CJ Affiliate) may set its own cookies to attribute a later subscription — those cookies are governed by that third party's privacy policy, not ours. Cookies and local storage

We store your theme choice (light/dark) and whether you've dismissed the cookie notice in your browser's local storage — this never leaves your device. Analytics and third-party services above may set their own cookies; you can decline non-essential ones via the cookie notice shown on your first visit.

What we don't do

We don't sell or rent your data. We don't build advertising profiles. We don't ask for your name or email to use the site. We don't store payment information — every subscription happens on the vendor's own site, never here.

Your choices

You can decline non-essential cookies, use a browser that blocks trackers, or send "Do Not Track." If you'd like us to answer a question about data on this site, email info@nodevstack.com.
